SPA Basement, Norway

This residential project is a single-family house that has a spacious basement, which the family was not using it. Also, the family’s desire was to convert it into a games room and a well-being space, reminiscent of a spa. As usual in Norwegian culture, the sauna is a very common practice. However, this family already had a space for this activity on another floor. That’s why the solution was to create a partition between the two different uses where on one side would be the bathtub and a relaxation space and on the other the pool table. The insertion of light fixtures in the wellness area would enhance the moment of relaxation as well the cultivation of natural plants, increasing the spacious quality of the floor.
