Natural light is essential for life.
Incube Lighting introduces natural light to the darkest corners of the building.
Elevating the art of lighting simulation to new heights, setting a standard for precision and sophistication in the realm of smart technology.
In every coordinate, all year-round, natural light.
With the integration of three key meteorological centers located in Oslo, Barcelona, and São Paulo into our system, we have unlocked a wealth of updated data crucial for understanding daylight variations. These centers provide us with real-time insights into atmospheric conditions, enabling our smart system to harness this information for precise predictions and regulation.
The significance of this integration extends beyond mere data acquisition. Our smart system utilizes this comprehensive dataset to simulate natural light with unparalleled accuracy and detail. By leveraging the latest advancements in technology, we can replicate the nuances of daylight, ensuring optimal illumination in any environment.
Oslo 59° N
Barcelona 41° N
São Paulo 23° S
With direct access to these meteorological centers, we empower our system to adapt dynamically to changing conditions, delivering an experience that seamlessly blends technology with nature's brilliance. Whether it's optimizing indoor lighting to mimic the warmth of a sunny afternoon or adjusting for subtle shifts in natural light throughout the day, our system excels at creating environments that enhance comfort, productivity, and well-being.
Introducing a new technology.
We are experts in natural light and natural light simulation
INCUBE LIGHTING is a multidisciplinary team of lighting designers, architects, academics and scientists committed to research and advocate on the impact that natural light has on our health and in our cities. With the use of pioneer technologies we develop solutions and design interiors that bring natural light into dark corners of the buildings, providing more thoughtful and healthy architecture.
As we transition into a more efficient future, our cities are becoming more compact, more vertical and more flexible.
Natural light is becoming the key to adapt to those changes and to keep providing healthy and resilient architecture.
HHL is a new technology that collects, transports and simulates natural light, becoming a viable solution to our green transition.
A Garden with natural light, 365 days a year, in Oslo.
OBOS Living Lab is an apartment block on Vollebekk in Oslo with six floors and a total of 34 rental apartments. Here, together with the residents, new technological, social and material solutions will be tested in order to explore the future of residential spaces.
Thanks to our partnership with OBOS Living Lab, INCUBE LIGHITNG´s first Light Garden with the use of our HHL technology is currently being tested by the Living Lab community. The space will be under research from 2021 until 2024. The first part of results was published in June, 2023 in the Spanish magazine “Architecture, City and Environment” (ACE).
